so guys i just got the call just right now from the dealer! tomorrow they ordering a new trani.. 3 weeks without my baby.. :/ i have the altima to burn ruber till my fx is fixed..
 
Ok i just got the call just now that they got in the transmission and they will be giving me my baby today or tomorrow I hope today! And I hope that did fix the problem :/ fingers crossed...
 
they gave me my baby back today and she is running like new! im happy now! :) they told me the reson the trani was bad was becouse i was driving triptoninc everyday.. :/ oh well lol

That's an interesting explanation from the dealer.. I wonder if there's a warning in the owner manual against driving in trip/DS for extended periods..

I know, I'm wondering the same exact thing. I've never heard of this before considering manual mode on Infiniti's are pretty much idiot proof. After driving in manual mode after a while and you don't shift, the tranny automatically goes back into drive mode itself to not damage the transmission.

It's also not normal for a brand new transmission to go out that early. You had like 18K on her right? Totally not normal.....

Bubito: How's your tranny doing so far? Is good to know, thus here in PR we only have one Infiniti Service Center. :mad.:
