best year for a fx??

looking to buy a fx. i wanted a 07 but alittle out of my price range. any other suggestions?

2006 was the year of gen1 FX re-fresh and has some greater improvements in exterior and interior. you should save a few thousands. good luck.

i heard there were alot of lemons and issues with the 06 like starting problems in the cold and noone seems to know why.

It's true but bear in mind that "a lot" is relative to the other years, which have virtually no issues. Personally, I wouldn't be too worried about it. If you are, save up for the '07.

I have 2004 fx35 and 2006 fx35. I think 2004 model is so much better than 2007.

I have a 2006 fully loaded....love it. No issues whatsoever and it's the first of the second half of the Gen 1s....which in my opinion are the best FXs to date and are classics....

in all honesty, even if your budget is limited, try getting an 07 FX. you will be happy with that.

all 1gen FX are the same.. a bit upgraded thru the years but same reliability.. if you get one get a 06+ just because of the interior upgrade.. it looks much better.
