Quick question, (I searched but was unable to find a definitive answer) I have some play in the steering wheel (the whole column). If I try to lift the steering wheel it goes up and down like 1/8th of an inch. It's very annoying. Is there a bolt I can tighten?
Also both front seats have about the same play, they move about 1/8th of an inch back and forth sometimes if you stop quickly or accelerate in a spirited way.
Any advice on these small issues?

Thanks.

On the seats, you are out of luck unless you don't mind paying big bucks (800 per seat) to replace the slider assembly OR if you are the DIY type, the problem is a plastic gear that has started to wear. Infiniti does not sell just the gear, but I have seen them sold online and of course in junkyards.

The steering column is a new one for me and I'm not sure I've read about it here on the forum! Do you have the steering column all the way extended in any direction? If so, try moving it just a fraction of an inch back towards center. If you still have a wobble, then I would get it checked out at the dealership or again if you are the DIY type, Start taking off trim covers and checking things out - tighten up whatever makes sense. It could be a similar issue as the seats - a worn gear in the motorized housing. I think a loose bolt is far more likely.
