Houston Coffee and Cars

Saturday May 5th (Ole!) at Vintage park, Houston. Located at 249, exit Louetta. Vintage park is on the right after the first traffic light.

I'll be in the Miata this time - the FX after the next round of mods!
 
June 2nd - Vintage Park, Houston Texas. 249 North, Exit Louetta and take a right, parking lot is one block down on the right hand side. Be there by 7am or risk not getting a parking spot!

I'll be there in the Miata but can't wait to bring the FX back...
 
This was one of the largest Coffee and Cars I have seen in Houston. I spent most of my time around the other Miata owners because I've become friends with several of them through the Houston Miata club.

I did a lap around the parking lot and realized I hadn't seen any exotics before seeing they have expanded into another large collection of lots. I have zero photos of the Italian section (Lambo, Ferrari & Masserati) and Ferrari actually brought out the 2002 Andretti F1 car. I also have zero photos of all the classic and modern American muscle - of which there was a ton. Saw an 1000whp LsX Camaro; twin turbo & nitrous; 158 in the standing half mile on a BREAK IN TUNE, rev limited and no nitrous.

There had to be more than 1000 cars there and it typical Texas fashion, it was freaking HOT. These are the fly by photos I grabbed just for y'all.

Very nice pictures! I hear those cobra replicas go for mid 30s to 40s, that's not bad for a toy weekend car. Any more pics of the big block muscle car?

Houston Coffee and Cars is quickly becoming the largest monthly meet in the country. April topped the attendance list with 1200 show cars.

Next event is August 4th. Clubs arrive by 6am or risk not getting to park together.

Anyone in the Houston area planning on going to the next event on January 5th? A buddy of mine and I are thinking about going and we have the choice of taking one of his old Camaro's or my FX. If anyone else is going and wants to roll in, I'll bring the FX.
 
I did go... and I did take the Miata!

It was cold and raining the entire time... but there were still a couple hundred cars there! Only the jeep guys were smart enough to rig up some tents and tarps between their roll bars - must be nice to have trunk space...
 
I was going to go but when I woke up I saw that it was raining outside so I said f-it and went back to bed lol.
