so day I was working on deleting my rear wiper. and thought since I had my panel off I was going to take the upper and lower trim peices off aswell as the infiniti logo held on by the two pins. I found a DIY on this but it dont give detail on how to remove the fiberglass shell from the rear so i can easily remove these three trim pieces. if anyone has ever done this could you give me some pointers? thanks guys

once you remove the interior panel you can get at the clips and bolts that hold the trim pieces on ...the emblem comes off the same way as all the rest with 2 way tape .

You will have to unbolt them 1st , even the clips can be a b!tch to get out ...I got my top piece off no prob but wrecked the bottom one

top piece with the "infiniti" has 4 bolts and 2 clips, the bottom has 2 bolts and 2 clips and adhesive, PITA to take off, i'd use a heat gun to soften the adhesive. I just carbon wrapped those trim pieces. All i can say is be careful.

lol oh man i can tell im going to have lots of fun :embarrassed: how much did it cost to replace your bottom one?

I dont remember I did it awhile ago but if you dont have tech pkg and break the upper one I have an extra one of those

YAY I got it. not bad at all, I thought it was going to be a pain in the rear, lol
the top infiniti logo just pops out with a long extension or bump rod. and the "infiniti come off with 4 5/16 nuts and the bottom one 2 5/16 and two pain in the a$$ clips, lol. I got lucky and and only broke one clip but i sould still be able to use it since its held on by sticky tape too. thanks for everyones help and Im going to post a DIY thread with also another way to delete the rear wiper at the same time. Ill try to do that today or tomorrow.
