bc racing 09+ coilovers for the FX's in the making!

What's the big deal with the camber that you guys keep asking about?

+1 on that question!

when we drop our cars the wheels will "camber" in or the wheel will get pushed in more and "tuck". This will cause bad tire wear and make your whole wheel look angled inwards (negative camber). So in order to fix that we need a camber kit or camber arm that pushes the wheel back outwards (positive camber) or postive camber direction. The more you lower a car on stock suspension the more the wheels will camber in with negative camber.

The drop with springs introduces quite a bit of negative, especially in the back.. I would imagine that a drop with coils will dramatically increase the negative. I hope it can be addressed with adjustment arm/bolts/etc..

So it's just because you guys get more negative camber than the 1st gens? I keep seeing it brought up like it's a huge problem.

The problem is in the front not in the back as turbocad stated in one thread (i don't remember in wich one). It's about how 2nd gen front suspension it's designed. If turbo can read this and enlight us.:smile (2):

I think your guys strut/spring is already a little tilted sitting stock, so lowering only makes it worse. Might put more stress.

It's gotta be fixable somehow. That suspension setup is on all the newer Nissan/Infiniti's I think.
