This could be a good option. I liked the schedule last year as well, if someone can find it.

So heres what I am thinking....

We can all meet up around 1pm somewhere...the planetarium might be a good choice for this.

Here we can do a photoshoot, meet and greet, etc.

Then we can all caravan to some photo spots (you Chicago guys know these)

Then food around 3-4 (dim sum, bbq, whatever we decide)

Then I am not really sure what we wanna do. If anyone wants to get some night shots with me they are more than welcome to join me saturday night (it would be nice to have a good photographer).
 
Based on previous experience, meeting anywhere downtown, especially around the museums, is going to be a pain in the ass. Chinatown excluded.
 
It's looking more like I won't make it. :( On a positive note, if Wayne is looking at coming down for the next one in fall, that will be awesome if I could make that one so we can finally be at a FX meet together.

I'm hoping to be down there in the fall on our way to the west coast. Also Jonas I will be in your area around June 8th for a few days, might even venture over to Milan Dragway to put a few runs on the FX at the test and tune night while we are there during that time.
 
I tweaked the schedule from the last meet.



Spring Meet Schedule, Saturday May 31st:

9:00am-9:40am Official Meet and Greet at parking lot (2002 South Wentworth Avenue Chicago, IL 60616. Park in the back left)
9:45am-11:30am Breakfast/Branch at MingHin Restaurant (www.minghinchicago.com 2168 S. Archer Ave. Chicago, IL 60616)
11:45am-12:30pm Photoshoot (Chinatown warehouses???)
12:30pm-2:00pm Highway Cruise to Busse woods
2:00pm-~:~~pm Busse woods BBQ (Relax, Photos, etc)


Let me know how it looks.
 
Just a suggestion what about meeting up at that new parking garage at the outletmall in rosemant on the top floor, the garage is free just anything to avoid the city, can't stand chicago

Just an FYI ill prob be getting into town around 9 so I would be a little late unless we moved everything up an hour.

Dave I think they like to start early because of the traffic later in the day and also so they can include all the things on the agenda.
Just leave earlier, that's what I always have to do.

True my issue is my hotel though and how early I can get in. It's not a big deal at all though. It's a 5 hour drive but the time goes back an hour so that helps haha
 
Just changed to 9:30am, if everyone is OK with that?

We need more peeps to chime in on this schedule.


Do we need permits at Busse Woods?
