Just a heads up if you need Infiniti parts, it's not going to happen

Hey I was just letting you guys know if you need any Infiniti parts and their on back order (meaning they need to be made) it's not going to happen anytime soon. I got an email from someone in Infiniti parts that contacted Nissan/Infiniti NA that any parts that weren't made before the Tsunami/earthquake in Japan won't be getting to us for a very long time. No one even knows when it will even happen.

I hate to see what happen to the people of Japan, because it truly sucks and is heart breaking to see. But if anyone thinks or doesn't care about what happened in Japan really needs to think twice. And it's not just about Infiniti's/Nissan's or any other Japanese brand in general, it's just everybody! I've heard that even certain domestic auto makers like Ford and GM have to seiz production on certain models because Japan supplies certain parts they need.

This sucks though cause I had a new rear kick plate and a few other goodies I won't be seeing anytime soon:tdown: I'm thinking about canceling my order now.
 
That sucks for everyone specially the people that live in Japan bc they still dealing with the situation
 
Yes, this makes sense. The body shop that worked on my car told me last week that the mudflaps are discontinued and they cannot get them anymore. Hopefully they are just delayed, I can't imagine Nissan/Infiniti stopping production completely. Better start eBay shopping!
 
Yeah it truly does suck. I mean I could care less about my parts cause those can be replaced, but the lives lost in Japan can't. This whole disaster has effected everyone. Maybe not yet, but later on it will.
 
Oh it definitely going to affect everyone, its actually going to affect the whole world for the fact that alot of things come from Japan.

although it's been months since the catastrophe that hit Japan, many are still affected by it, I hope they will recover soon.
 
Time and again, Japan showed to the world how resilent they are as a people. They will recover and get back even stronger. What can't be replaced are the countless lives lost, lives of the surviving loved ones broken and the pain that many generations are yet to endure.

My heart and prayers goes to the people of the Land of the Rising Sun!
