Question about High Flow Cats

Hello all, I have 05 FX35 AWD, and have a question about High Flow Cats.
I know the benefits of HFC but here is my question besides benefits.
If you put the HFC on FX35 and when you manually downshift,
does the downshift noise gets louder? I mean the noise coming out from the exhaust?
I just like the way certain cars have the nice downshifting noise.

Maybe the 370z has the synchro rev match on auto tranny?
I have Invidia Gemini CBE, Stillen Intake w/ Z-Tube, 5/16 spacer on my FX35, but personally think it might get much louder once I put the HFC and might grab police's attention... However, I really don't care about the drone.. so...
Anyone who has HFCs on their FX, let me know how it sounds when you downshift.

Hfc WILL make ur car louder at all times. On downshift urs is only going to get more pronounced since u have the gemini. And there WILL be drone. For a n/a engine, there's not much benefit with hfcs but your guaranteed a loud sounding exhaust.
 
Quick question.
Is HFC a must in order to complete the air flow?
I have Stillen Intake w/ Z-Tube, 5/16 Spacer and Invidia Gemini.
Does stock Cats restrict the air flow a lot?
I was just wondering if the stock cats will get on its way blocking some air flow with my setup.
Will I be able to get much more benefit adding the HFCs or does the stock cats good too?
If the power gain is very minimal I won't just get the HFCs... Plus police will grab more attention to my car due to noise after installing the HFCs..
Any help is appreciated!

A complete exhaust is from the headers back. There is a member here with the invidia gemini exhaust and high flow cats. I seen him drive a bit. It is loud out the A$$. I mean loud, You stand there and say to yourself wtf.
