Welcome to IS! I currently run H&R DRM 25mm all around on my OEM 20"s with no issues. When I lowered the car to H&R springs then to BC coilovers, I had no issues too. I'm going to roll my fenders really soon when I put my 22"s on. Here is mine with springs and spacers.

Welcome to IS & enjoy the forum.

25 mm around is good and look pretty flush. There still some wiggle room for even bigger spacer if you want a REALLY REALLY flush/aggressive looks. Perhaps 30 mm around with stock springs and wheels. I have H&R Springs and H&R 25 mm DRM style on mine as well. No problem with 20s wheels what so ever. Now with 22s, wider wheels and tires I'm experiencing rubbing in the rear if I hard corners or bottoms out. Rolling the fenders is my only options since I want that really really flush looks

Another point you need to be mindful of is service for your wheels and tires. Some chain tire stores will not service your car if you have wheel spacers on. I know Discount Tire in my area will not service my car.

do 20mm, 25mm depending on the tire may stick out a little...., I had 20mm on my 18s and my 20's and they give it a nice stance, even lowered. I also have a set of 20mm H&R TRAK+ spacers sitting around if you want to buy them...PM me, alll youll need to buy are the extended lugs(cheap)

same, but with 18's

I say DO IT

If I could do it again, I would probably do 25mm rear 20mm front, since when you lower it the camber brings the tire in a bit, so to get it more flush, the extra 5mm helps a bit....It will look good with your coil overs

GTR's - Run 20mm's in the front. No need for spacers in the rear with GTR offset. Only one H&R spring set I know of for our car. If cash is an issue the H&R's will look and ride great......If possible save up for CO's so you can dial in your ride height.

Also, make sure you roll your rear fender wells in advance so your tires do not get chewed up by the inner metal lips.

If you're interested, I was going to list my H&R springs up for sale soon. On my car for six months. It's a great price and upgrade from the OEM setup, if coilovers are out of your budget.

well, which CO's is good out there? and how much is the difference between the CO's and H&R springs?

also, is H&R sport springs a only choice for our FX? i mean can we go for another level, like the red one--race springs set?

H&R Sport is the only springs available for our FXs, no other tiers.

JC, *nudge nudge, wink wink*

I have a 35 hmmm.....:wink (2):

CO's - Most members are running BC's, a couple have Megan's and like them (some guy down in Cali who goes by the name of Humberto? =). Megan's have higher spring rates, BC's have a better warranty.

There is only one H&R spring, Eibach's are also available but have had reliability issues.

Pricing for springs Vs. CO's - Springs around 250.00 purchase price around 3-450.00 for insatll. Co's are around 1K and the install is much easier than the springs so roughly 4-500 difference? It is a world of difference though and you won't regret the height and ride adjustability.

Would 20mm on the front and 15mm in the back look good? I found good used 2 pairS in these sizes

Anyone?
Also are the springs from an fx45 work on fx35 rwd?

---------- Post added at 04:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:35 PM ----------

Ok I found out that the springs between a 35 and 45 are interchangeable. The part #s are different but the components are the same. Hope this helps someone.

On cutt H&R's -
Don't go anymore then 15 in the rear lowered. Put 25'mm in the front for a flush look. I have 25mm in the front and getting 15mm for the rear. I bought 25mm for the rear and the tire sticks out past the rear fender. Gona sell the 25mm spacers (1set) as for i have no use for them.
