Just my luck!!!!!

So early this morning on my way to work I noticed my car was acting up. as I was at a steady speed of about 66 MPH I noiticed my car starting to act slugish and the RPM gauge was bouncing from 1500 to 2 grand moving back and forth> well I told myself after it stopped that one of these days ill have it checked out.................Well this is the sad part!.....I got off early "12:30" PM to go to my friends house to FINALLY put my coilovers on the car. As i came up to a stop light and came to a complete stop and it died. :mad.: So now everything is messed up. Now my money which was suppose to go to sexualchocolate for his headlights and taillights will be used to fix my damn car, and now ill have to wait another time my friend has off so I can use his garage to install the coilovers. AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!:bomb:

SORRY HAD TO GET IT OUT

yeah it just died shortly after i bought it. the car did it to my wife when she drove it to work, but never happend after that. and it was about 3 months ago it did that. i hope it nothing bad either and praying that its under a grand to fix i should find out today or tomorrow what it is and see exactly where to go from there. once again chocolate i feel so bad for coming this far with your sale and this happens.

Don't worry about it bro. It's no biggie on my end. I would rather that you have a properly working reliable vehicle than anything else.

Hopefully it's something cheap and easy to fix. Clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump relay, or osmething along those lines.

Sucks man, sorry for the bad news... The wait will be worth it, so no worries..

OT: sexualchocolate ... you get this name from Coming to America? That boy is good, good and terrible.

okay i heard back from north end auto and found out it was the crank positioning sensor. dont know the cost yet and hope they can be done by monday night. thanks chocolate for willing to hold that stuff for me. let me hit you up thursday and see whats going on i really want them but the way things are going it wont be anytime soon, lol but like i said to make me feel better if someone makes you a killer deal then do it. becasue it could be a few weeks to catch back up.

so i picked the car up from the shop monday and paid the shop 166.08. day later same thing happened. so this time i decided to take it to steven infiniti "high end dealer" and been thee since yesterday. call just now and said its a mis comunication between the ecu and crank sensor and will take alot of time "and money" to find the out wee its at :-(

wow got it fixed but they said the check engine light will not come off and they ran it and nothing is wrong with the car.

now i just wanna sell my car and sart all over again with one that does not have the check engine light on.:mad.:

Your "high end dealer" couldn't clear the CEL or see why it was going off? What kind of dealer did you go to? lol :confused.:

Have an Infiniti or Nissan dealer clear the CEL.

If you want to do it yourself. Disconnect the battery and then hold down the horn button to drain the small charge held for memory in the control modules (sounds assinine but it should work). You will also lose radio info (may need the code) and all other stored settings. If the CEL is a hard failure code then it will not go away and needs to be read.

nope no luck i guess i will have to keep the engine light on till i can afford a new ecu,lol thanks guys for the input :smile (2):

So the ECU is bad? Or is it the transmission control unit?

How much did they say? Can you still drive her?

ECUs can go bad, making for weird stuff to happen. Damn that is a hard hit cause you just bought her not too long ago.

the dealer thinks that its the ecu that is bad. the cam sensor had a needle sized hole in it and sent a spark up into the ecu causing the crank sensor to come up bad and also causing a constant miss read with the ecu since the spark was going directly to the ecu. mayeb I should buy a new camaro? lol
