Is this install hard to do? Any advice or instructions that may help assist me in installing this? Any comments are welcomed and I thank you in advance.

cai or ztube w/ filteR?

either way its about 10 things to loosen/take off and tighten/reinstall to put on an intake if its the ztube.......
maybe a 2/10 if you're a beginner.
get a screwdriver and a 10mm socket,
loosen the elbow's screw at the intake, undo two bolts to take off the intake (dont forget to unplug the maf)
then it's easier to work piece by piece......

Are you replacing the intake tube also? Either way it's basically take out what's being replaced and put in the new part. Pretty straight forward.

where I circled top to bottom:
1.screw
2.screw
3.bolt
4.screw
5.screw
6.bolt

undo 1, 3 and 6 on the factory intake (and unplug MAF sensor) to take out the factory intake

if its the Ztube, you'll have to loosen 2, 4, to replace the ztube and 5 so you can remove the factory airbox and install the K&n filter that comes with the stillen kit.
the POWERDUCT, right where the intake meets between the light and grille, is re-used from the factory intake box for the stillen. If oyu lost the clips you can use zip ties.

reverse to install, make sure where you unscrewed the tightening bands that when you tighten them the tubing is all the way over the plastic so there are no air leaks, and dont make it too tight, just tight enough for air not to get through.!
that's pretty much it man, simple.
the only annoying part is the k&N filter in the stillen intake shielding attaching it to the factory MAF sensor tube/accordion.....
other than that, its straightforward.

Thank you everyone. I ordered the whole CAI kit. Hi-Flow Intake with Z-Tube Package. It looks easy, but not very mechanical, i am a network admin so i try not to mess around with anything that i may screw up.

okay, so the install should be straightforward.

HKs is kind of quiet, nismo is from the 350z and needs to be modded a bit to fit. they are both a bit louder than stock, the Nismo more so

check out the performance section of the forums ^go up to forums then scroll down to FX engine and drivetrain then go to fx35 03-08....or use the search bar.
