The mark on the upper spoke was already there. You cant notice it in person. Im shocked you can see it on the pic. But you were right, that stuff is easy to apply and really does not run! the texture does not show too. You have to get prity close to see that there is a texture in the paint.

your roof rails

Wassup man did your fx come without the roof rails or you removed? wanted to ask how the front i can reach from the sunroof but the back the nut of the bold in the inside of the car is block by double sided wall, but if your looking from the outside of car u can cut the bolt shaft but what about the metal piece holding the shaft? Do you grind that off please let me know or if anyone has suggestions ive tried it all.

Looks great David...quick question, what exactly did you use to apply the bedliner to get a nice even coat? looking to do this to some spare rims i have lying around then putting them on my girls car

I let the air our. placed playing cards in between the rim/tire and sprayed several coats 3 cans for 4 rims (i sanded them first with 60 grit)

grill i cleaned and sprayed

super easy!

ok... i was looking for rustoleum's spray can version. didn't see it. did you use spray cans on did you use a paint sprayer. thanks.

So I was just wondering how this finish was standing up over time. I want to paint both the grille and the wheels and I'm trying to figure out if this is the way to go as it would appear to be a little more resistant to road hazards...

Looks like I found my next mod for the weekend! They look SWEET and cheaper than buying new rims. Adding my 20mm spacers to the wheels too.

60 Grit seems a bit harsh. How easy is it to remove the bed liner coating (as opposed to the Plasti-dip) if I want to go back to stock? Is it necessary to lightly sand them? If I remove the paint later, I do not want them all scratched up.

Thoughts?

60 grit is pretty aggressive and would definitely ruin the stock finish. They make a liquid sanding material plastics and such that would likely work on wheels. It is more like a deglosser. I got some once at Lowes or Home Depot.

I didn't plan to go back that is why I went with 60. It was aggressive and it worked as I planned. I'm not sure if you can go back to stock. It isn't like plastidip at all

Update
grill and wheels are still holding up nicely. The only problem was when I bought new tires. The shop scratched one of the paint on 2 of the wheels
