I ordered a set of double wall rolled tips to replace my current single walled straight tip for my Invidia Gemini exhaust. I'm having a difficult time to clamp the double walled tip tight on the tail pipe. Yeah, I know, you just clamp it down by tightening the nut on the clamp. I did. I crank the nut all the way in to the end of the thread onthe bolt and tip still slip off with just a light tug. I even take the funny looking spacer in between the clamps opening where the bolt goes through and tighten the nut as far as I can. Any suggestions guys?

Here is how the clamp looks like.

I had the same issue with that. I ended up putting a sleeve inside the clamp and then i tightened it down. Or you can have it welded on for peace of mind.

+1.

Also, if you have someone weld it, be sure they know how to weld stainless. Or else the weld will fall off in a few months (at least in my scenario!).

What did you end up doing Andy?
I cut a piece of 1/8" think aluminum tubing, wrap it around the tail pipe and then clamp the tip onto it. It is strange how the I don't have any problem with the single wall tip. The single wall tip fit perfect, but the rolled tip is much larger.
