Need Help...Scratched Rear Bumper

So this morning as I was walking up to my car and I noticed that the unpainted black trim on the rear bumper (right above where the exhaust is) had scratches on it. It looks like my wife may have backed up onto a huge pile of snow which scratched the plastic piece. Does anyone know if this could be sanded or if that piece can be detached from the bumper and completely replaced? I'm really anal about my car and hate seeing it scratched. :mad.:

unfortunately the bumper is a one piece and I doubt that it can be sanded to get it to match the rest of the bumper being that the texture would be hard to match. Might want to find one on ebay without those scratches which will be unlikely, or look into just getting everything painted.

Post edited for useless picture.

Sorry to hear about your FX. Depends how deep the scratches are.

You can take it to a body shop and just have them paint the bumper.

Thanks man! I'll definitely look into it. BTW - Got any before and after pics of when you used this product? Actually I'd like to see what it looks like now.

Thanks in advance!

You can use a trim restorerer on it. There is certain trim restorerer that fills in and restores scratches on black plastic exterior trim.

It's in the UK, but so worth ordering. I had scratches on mine and it fixed them good.
