Sadly, I am having to return my Nitto 420S to DT. They caused the steering wheel to shake and vibrate very bad at around 55-65 MPH. I took it back and they tried to turn the tires and reseat them and re balance them and that still didn't fix the problem.
So now i cant decide between the RH06 or the BFG KDW?!!!!?!?!?!

Was it really the tires? Is it possible you have a bend in the wheel or alignment needs to be done or some other issue with the car and not the tires?

I just got a set of Nitto NT 420s in 22 installed by DT and mine drives fine. FX's steering is very sensitive, so a little off on the balance will cause the shake. Was your steering wheel shake/vibrate before you put on the Nitto? I take it you're running with your old tires now? Is the shakes still there? Most of the time they just need to be rebalanced.

I dont think there is any bends. They checked t for bends when they rebalanced them. I dont think it needs a alignment. Before i put the nittos on the steering wheel would not shake or vibrate at all. Now with the nittos the steering wheel literally shakes like a motha when i take my hands off. I took them back and they rebalanced them and still the shake is there. They Said i can rotate them and see if that works or just choose a new set. AHH!

Aren't you supposed to get an alignment once new tires go on? I know I did, but I needed one since I had springs put on also since my last one.

Also, one member on the ORG had a crazy issue with getting his balanced correctly.

Alignment is necessary if your previous tires have any un-even wear. For the peace of mind, it not a bad idea to get an alignment done after put on a set of new tires. I'm taking mine into Firestone this afternoon for a "maintenance check" on the alignment.

but if i rotate them and that solves the problem, then when i am due for another rotation i will have those in the front again
If the rotation got rid of the vibration, that means you have a bend in one of the front wheels. If it is indeed one of your front wheel is bent, you should feel it more in the seat/butt after the rotation rather than at the steering wheel.

if a wheel is bent then that particular wheel must have gotten put on the front when the put all 4 new nittos in. that may have been why i dint feel it with the stockers. this is just assuming it is a wheel with a bend.

but they are letting me if i want to swap these for any tires i want to so i want to make the right decision.

are the RH06 a narrow tire? cause the nittos width looked pretty good with the 265

If you google for specs, you'll find Hankooks RH06 overall width is 10.8 and the the Nitto 420S is 10.9.

Thanks for the pics. I still can't decide between the ventus RH06 or the BFG KDW?
it's seems a tad difficult trying to find tire pics installed on cars online. Trying to find the bfg kdw on fx pics!!
