Pricing for OEM 20" or above wheels + tires

Hey Guys,

I've got an '09 FX with the 18" wheels & I'm thinking about upgrading the wheels/tires. I see that many of you have customized wheels and am wondering if you've held on to your stock rims & tires? If so, I very much like the stock 20" rims that come with some of the FX's and would like to accept any offers that you want to make on this for any rims that are in very good condition.

This is one of those things that I'm on the fence about buying - I don't really need them, but would LIKE to get them if I can find some for the right price. I've been looking at new rims & are just over what I have set aside to spend. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I guess the protocol is to send a direct message with quotes? Anyhoo - thanks again

****EDIT **** I realized I put 22" in the thread title - my bad. I'm asking about 20" and up. Thanks.

1st or 2nd gen 20's? Usually the first gen go for any where from $600-1000 depending on condition and tires.

Good luck getting a set of OEM deluxe touring 20's. You could try eBay or Craigslist first.

I feel that the 20s are alittle small on the FX. My bro just got 20s for his EX35 and they look fantastic, I testfitted them on my FX and they immediately look smaller.

Optimal size would be 21 or 22 on the FX.

Thanks for the input so far. For those saying 20s are too small, well I'm coming from 18s right now so 20s would be fine I think. My concern with 21s or 22s is the ride. I really like the way my FX feels right now & realize things won't be as smooth with 20's. But taking things up to 22s might not be a sacrifice I want to make. I'm saying all of this based on what Ive read here and other forums & haven't actually had a chance to feel how 22s feel on a FX. Any other feedback is appreciated on this topic as well.

As for the wheels themselves I think I may have things narrowed down to 20's from finishlinewheels (unless I can be convinced that 21's or up wont' be too harsh of a ride). Does anyone have any feedback on the quality of these rims? I'm curious how the Chrome versions of this looks. They're priced at $499.99, which although may be a good deal (???), comes up to at least $2,600 once tires are included - not too bad, but I'd be happy with used rims & tires & paying less $$.

Oh and don't do chrome. Chrome is ugly and tacky :-)

they are real. they're just refinished OEM or they also sell replicas. THey're clearly marked which is which. In the case of FX35 wheels, they're OEM.

$379 for a remanufactured wheel isn't bad I guess.....more convenient than sending out a rashed one. Thing is, there's no telling how it was repaired; could have been cracked and rewelded (vs just cosmetic).
