Plasti Dip Stock 20s

I think it makes the wheels look bigger on mine too! I sanded mine down and painted them until I have the time to get them powder coated. I think they look really good on your car! I just used rim paint for mine in the mean time and I haven’t had a problem with them chipping so far.

im already wishing i had prepped it a bit more too much slick protectant on my wheels

i may sand down and do the bedliner in a few weeks! Im digging the black wheels!!

Good job!
I was on the fence as to whether or not I want to paint my wheels or keep the stock finish, however I somehow just received a large rock-chip on my front driver's side wheel, so it looks like they may be getting painted after all!

I'd really like to see the final product once it's all said and done.

If that does not work with filling in the chip, you can go with powder coating. My brother got stock rims for his range rover that had chips around the rims and once we powder coated them it filled in all the chips. It even filled in some pretty deep ones!

I was thinking of using a powdercoat rather than paint, but I've read some posts about potential wobble from the wheel not sitting flush on the hub as a result of powdercoating... I'm not quite sure how valid these claims are however.

yes you can paint over the plati dip

first page the silver metallic is over the plasti dip

i didnt sand prior to doing it so it isnt super strong-i just wanted to test black out

Yeah, I figured that I would ask more questions about that as I moved closer to actually painting or pc'ing the wheels. As of right now, I'm still in stock trim with the exception of the intake.
