DTRL Update?

Hey guys,

I haven't posted in a while and was checkin to see if there has been any update to the DTRL. I currently have my stock HID's and HOEN fogs to match with some LED's in the DTRL. The issue I have is that the headlight and fogs match perfectly but the DTRL is too blue. Anyone know if there's any new bulb we can use to match the stock HID"s? I'm sure there are people here with the same issue.

you can buy 6000k ds2 bulbs for the headlamps to match your 6000k LED DTRLs, thats what I did, and have 6000K fogs to match. They are all around the same white with a blue hint so its nice....
Yellow fogs are so much better for rain and snow though haha

You can get LEDs that are white, you just have to play around with dfifferent brands or temperature colors, like maybe get 5000k LEDs they may match better...
 
Check out fxlr8's album and his old dtrl bulbs. I'm planning to get a pair of those later
 
I just don't want to get 6000 HID bulbs b/c then I will have to swap the fog to hids too which is too much work. Plus I really like the stock hids.

I thought you said you switched out the Fogs and dtrls?

Im still confused about your question...

if you want them all the same, get 5000 or 6000k for the xenons, DTRLs, and Fogs, all three of them, and they will match

If oy dont want to change the fogs or xENONS, just get 5000K LED DTRL, or the one below the "cool blue"-like colors
 
I have stock HID's which are 4300. I also got the HOEN fogs which are not HID but they match the stock HID's very well. I also have leds in my DTRL. My headlight and fogs match but the DTRL is too blue.
 
poker bob I used to have your setup, stock hid bulb with matching halogen fogs. The best look I've had doing that set up is taking the dtrl out. It looks good actually. Just the hids and fogs. But to answer your question, I've went through about 4 types of bulbs, and most of them match with 6k more. Good luck finding the ones that match!
