Anybody's employment depend upon their drivers license?

and are subsequently scared to push their fx's (driving them as recklessly and irresponsibly as these puppies beg you to drive them) due to acquiring too many points on their license and putting their employment in peril?

just asking, lol. :wink (2):

Muahahaha. First ticket in 10 years was after getting the Stillen SCer. Subsequently received 2-3 more speeding tickets over the course of 9 months after being TT.

damn i just lost my job last friday due to speeding tickets because my company couldnt afford to pay the insurance. i push my car all the time and learned not to speed anymore. now i just take my time and drive like my grandma.

mines' the exact opposite, in a sense that i will be trying to get a CDL licence. and employment in that sector requires a clean record. i don't have it but am working towards it. sorry to hear about your job loss. I hope you will find another soon. don't let the bad economy discourage you. Good Luck.

Yah, me too.

My current job now continges upon my drivers record, to a point, but im in the process of transitioning jobs, where they are putting us through an 8 week course to help us attain our cdl, as well.

I overheard some of the other guys mentioing that we have up to 30 days to inform our supervisors if we get any infractions on our licenses.

I currently have zero points on my record now and i plan to keep it that way.

good for you man, i had too many points until 3 years ago when i finally gave up my bad driving skills. and it won't be another year before i look for a new job. hopefully 4 years of clean record will help me. you're doing much better, keep it that way. anything else in not worth it.

I had a 9 month period i had too many points on my license so I couldn't drive any of the cars at work.... insurance wouldn't cover me for it. what a pain to get someone to move the cars for you.

I appreciate it bleeding.

I just try to behave myself when im behind the wheel, too much at stake.

You can miss me with all that sitting in courtrooms praying for the officer not to show up and having to pour our hearts out to these judges, due to these court systems that are just out for money. I do understand that driving is indeed a privilege and i do feel that i've gotten all of that irresponsibility out've my system in my 20's. (im going on 37 now!)
