Injen Intake for the 09+'s

It's a bit early to say what's gonna happen with this, but I wanted to give you 2nd Gen's out there a heads up about me dropping off my car at Injen today..

I'll have it back on Friday and will know a lot more then. I can tell you that they feel really confident that they will be ready to rock & roll on selling the final products within a couple weeks.. I'll also have dyno results on Friday!

I hope that there will be a gain with this intake kit.... I hope even more so that this doesn't fall through like the eibach springs.. There's another intake that's in the fitting and r/d stages for the 2G as well, it will be interesting to see who follows through and who makes more power.

Good luck! Let us know.

FX looks awesome man!

Thanks Fire0nic3!

I hope so as well.. That whole Eibach thing was such BS.. That's why I kept this low key until I know for sure what's up.. Hopefully we get some good gains though!

: well long story short she's pretty & she sounds good! That's about it however. After 60 runs on the dyno & 18 different variations on the intake, the best they could get was +5 consistently...

Apparently our motors are tuned so tight that it's almost impossible to get any higher gains out of the intake.. The cold air G37 intake fit, but also made it drop 15hp... They've got one other one in stock if anybody wants it, but unless theres a huge demand they don't think they can market it with such small gains. I'll have the dyno PDF's later this weekend.. Sooooo, back to square one!

As for how she feels, she's sluggish off the line but then pulls pretty good around 4-5grand. It's sorta like turbo lag if you ask me.. Well, turbo lag without the coolness of actually having turbos..

She is pretty though!

damn look very nice!! but for 5HP more i will stay with my injen short ram! gives me the same 5HP more lol but it sure looks nice! ;)

Can you get some vids up?

Maybe the gains will increase if they design a box or utilize the factory.. Sucking up hot air just doesn't make sense.

Yeah, lets hear it. 5 gain is pretty pathetic for something that looks soooo great. Guess the Nissan guys did it right off the line. Money better spent elsewhere. Looks purty though

Not too sure if it's running lean or the oem setup is just maximized from the factory.. Most cars come pig rich from the factory anyway and usually leaning them out makes more power. More fuel may just make it fall on its face.

: they never put a kit into development. Don't really know what happened. They literally just lost all interest. I'm gonna be putting my kit up for sale in about a week or so though since it isn't needed anymore after the Super Charger has been added. Sorry guys that the ball got dropped on this. Just one of those weird 2nd gen things, starting to think it's a curse.
