Does anyone knows o2 simulator??

I got error coed 3 times for a week. checked it up by tuner.
The tuner said " I need a o2 simulator.
I don't know exactlly what it is. why o2 sensor simulator should not be used on street legal cars.

Is it any adverse effect for veh??

o2 sensor simulator. it's kinda extension for 02 sensor.

you mean the extension that keeps the o2 sensor as far away as possible from the bung hole....well run to autozone and ask for 02 sensor foulers.

If you have a catback exhaust why would you need an O2 fouler. Isn't the extension needed for high flow cats or straight pipes?

right..but he keeps insisting that it's a simulator for a stock cat..which i honestly don't know what to make of..fouler was my next best guess.

Yeah, like everyone is saying. If you have stock cats the downstream o2 sensors do not need to be spaced out with simulator/non-foulers.

The simulator/non-foulers are used to allow the rear o2 sensor to see a differential that is within spec from the front o2 sensor. Basically simulating there is a catalytic converter.

What is the actual error code?
