Interesting potential rocker panel mod

I was looking at DJ pathfinder's Avatar months back and we were discussing the dramatic shadows on the lower side panels in his photo. Something about it really resonnated with me as the darkness followed the curved cut line near the bottom of the door and accentuated the aggressive lines of the car. On a whim I took a sheet of stain black vinyl wrap and cut it to fit the area. I removed it the same day but took a quick shot of it before I pulled it off. Thought I'd share the visual.....

Just an idea and still not sure if I'd go through with it or how I'd handle this with paint - Fade the join line slightly, create a hard line, go black or go a couple shades darker silver (like DG).

BTW this is the FX before the BC's and the GTR's......Lookin' a little OEM.

That would mean I'd have to wash my car man =), Yeah, I was thinking sitting substantially lower w/ the gunmetal wheels would tie it together better......

This is the angle I loved about the Fx and incorporated it on my body kit.

I followed the same line to give that effect.

It almost looks like a wide body FX. The curve/angle gives it a really dramatic look. I still think it looks better OEM with the think chrome strip on the side.

that actually looks very nice. not chrome strip, just pure blackness and the sexy curve..you have my vote.

If you can find a way to highlight that area, you have my support. That curve is my favorite part of the exterior...I even tried highlighting in a banner attempt. =P

come on lance you can wash your car so it can last an hour lol, right before it snows tomorrow. I haven't washed my car in a bout 2 months I let the rain do it.
