I've done a bunch of searching around the forum and google looking for oem 20's from my 04 painted in black, glossy or matte. I'm striking out unfortunately, I did find one person that did gunmetal gray and I liked it.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of black rims, so I doubt I'll ever flip the bill for new ones. On the other hand, if I can get them painted for a few hundred bucks, I think it would be cool to have in addition to the 22 machined wheels I plan on getting down the road. Especially since I drool everytime I see 909fx's pics being I have the same color ride :D.

wow awesome response and pics, I think I like this forum already :D. Bleed are you also powder coated? I hope the black looks good on the burylium fx that I have, I think I'm going to do it!

The white and black trend grew on me also. I like it more and more as time goes. You have wheel spacers on?

20mm all around. last week i took the wheels and the spacers off and when putting them back on, i torqued them to 80 ft.lbs. instead of 85 lbs and now the steering wheel vibrates when i hit the brakes at 80+ mph only. it's gotten better lately.

I painted mine flat black. ill try to get som picks up

only seen flat black on one FX before, pics please?

as a cheaper alternative to buying aftermarket wheels, the idea of painting/powder coating your stock wheels brings a lot of difference in terms of looks. here's an eg. of beryllium n blk...
