A water running noise

Hello all,
I have 05 FX35 AWD with 43k miles.
I've been hearing this noise (like a running water noise. like a stream of water flowing) whenever I accelerate from a stop.
This morning I checked coolant and it was all gone :eek.:
So brought it to a dealership and they topped it off.
Nothing was leaking so I guess it's because of cold weather. maybe they did not fully topped it off at last oil change.
So the noise is coming from under the hood when accelerating from a stop.
I really notice this noise after replacing the valve cover and the exhaust.
Has anyone had this experience?
As for service I've gotten coolant flush, brake fluid flush, transmission oil flush, belts repalced, spark plugs replaced in the past.
Thank you all in advance!
:iS:

Is it possible for coolant level to go down when the weather gets cold?
Also, I started to hear the noise after I got my valve cover replaced.
Maybe the mechanic didn't bolt tight or misproceeded?
Or could it be air in coolant line? Should I get the coolant drained and filled? (But I did this less than 10,000 miles ago)
I think it's either the coolant was down due to cold weather (20F) or the mechanic didn't install the valve cover properly or made a mistake while replacing the valve cover.
I topped it off the coolant so let's see what happens withing a few days whether it goes down or stays.
If not, I will just bring it back to the dealership and check the head gasket or something because my powertrain warranty still exists...
Please let me know thank you !

After hours searching and getting feedbacks, I think there is air in cooling system. I'm gonna bring it back to a dealer and tell them to bleed out the air from coolant system. Since it happened after they replaced the valve cover, the mechanic might have disconnected the coolant system and somehow air got in.
I will let you guys know if bleeding will solve the problem.
Thanks!

some common problems of low/no coolant could be cooler or no heat coming out of the vents or the car could run hotter then normal. Have you noticed either of those symptoms?

thats a good thing thing. Just watch out for those symptoms and you should be okay. Good luck!

this is an off topic question but how do you get your pic to show up on each post??

What about the line that warms up the intake? Maybe they forgot that connection during the valve cover job.

It is not normal to show low coolant in any weather! Don't over heat your block or heads or you'll warp the heads and blow a gasket!

Thanks man.
I was once a supporting member and I was able to put my pics as a profile pic.
When it expired it just happened to be just there..
I don't know maybe you can do that on your account setting??

What is that line??
Can you describe it to me more??

There is a thin water line that runs to the back of either the TB or intake plenum that warms it up in cold weather. Its back near the firewall so it's easily overlooked. Might also explain the noise.

**** UPDATE ****
So I brought my car to a dealership and I was sitting with the tech in my car and letting him know that this type of noise is coming under the hood when stepping on the gas.
First he said, this "tweak" noise? I was like Nah, that's from the intake....
Told him to step on the gas for like 5 seconds then he noticed the water swishing noise and told me there is air in the coolant system.
Also, the heater was like working properly.. (Wasn't hot enough)
So he bleed out the air in the coolant system and problem solved!
So it runs fine now and nothing's wrong with it.
It's just learning things by experiencing it.
So anyone who had a similar problem with me, try bleeding out the air in the coolant system.
Hope this helps!

...wait until tomorrow, when the noise appears again.

i think some of the guys here mentioned that... im glad you got it solved bro!! enjoy your healthy FX!!

So far so good.
No problem at all.
Have been checking the coolant for 2 days since the dealer bleed the air out of my coolant system. Heater is also working perfecto!
Not been hearing any noise when stepping on the gas, and coolant level stays high (where the top line is).
Well, the coolant level decreases a bit when the car sits outside over the night and when I drive around and the engine gets warmed up, the coolant level goes up high again due to fluctuation.
So my FX is back on its health! :)
