Question about front and rear differential

Hello all, I have 05 FX35 AWD with 42k miles on it.
I was wondering if I need to get the Front and Rear Differential Service?
I don't hear or have any problems with it.
How much do you think it will cost to get that service done?
Is it really necessary to get this serivce?

You should be fine till 60k at the earliest. But it is necessary and it just a drain and fill like the oil.

It really doesn't cost that much to change these fluids so I suggest you do it if you have not done so already and over 65k. You won't really feel any side affects until there is so much wear on the gears that it later fails on you. But once done you may feel a smoother drive.

I just had mine done at 30K on my 2009 FX35. Changing the front and rear differential fluids at the dealer cost $110 + tax. If your wanting to change transfer case fluid too, that's another $90 I believe. I recommend doing the transfer case fluid too since they will have it up on the lift.

Yes what dealer you went to... I hit 60K last week & I wanna do the full service. Kings Infiniti ask $700. :err:

I never had any problems there. I'm always in and out without one problem. I get good discounts everytime I go to. They gave me a $250 tranny flush for $179. A $60 tire rotation and balance for only $25. And always like 15% off total service.
