For my 06, would i need to change anything other than the bulbs for these lights? do i need a new ballast or lens or anything? Is this just a simply bulb swap for better lighting?
I'm a newb.. sorry if this is a stupid question.

Yep is just a simple bulb swap..

Got the bulbs yesterday (very fast shipping) and just installed them! The difference was very subtle (at least in the daytime). I am hoping that the difference is more noticeable at nighttime!

Note that the temperature settings for the two pictures are slightly different (can be seen in the difference in the fog light color) but I think this picture shows the difference of the Philips 4300K vs. Morimoto 6K pretty well in general.


Only thing left to do is swapping out the DTRL with a white LED! Waiting for JLC to respond

So I bought the Elite HID kit for the fog lights with the Heavy Duty Relay. I can't seem to figure it out on how to install the kit with the heavy duty relay. Is the heavy duty relay even necessary?

I installed my HID Fog Kit(eBay) without any relays, don't think you need it.
