Hey guys, I just want to start putting up some PS'd pics of some rims that I'm considering for the spring... Forgive me for the quality of the PS, I just got the program two days ago and I'm just learning as I go..

Opinions on which you prefer and why..

i like your second choice especially if you drop your ride it will look really good, are you planning on using spacers in the back?

Exe Konvex wheels look the best in my opinion:cool:

I love that those polished lips on it.

I like the first choice, but it looks like you may need a drop. Are those 22"s ? Its crazy how much of a difference it makes just putting wheels on.

i love the first one on your whip

btw, you've only been using ps for 2 days? those chops are pretty good

If you get the KonVex, you'll need to buy the 5x112 bolt pattern and get them redrilled to the 5x114.3 bolt pattern. That's what 909FX did.

EXE's for sure. I was also considering them when I was looking for wheels. They look great.

As much as possible, I really don't want to deal with spacers. If I can get a decent offset then I'm ok.. Dont' really want any vibration or issues that spacers may come with. I do like this wheel because of it's classic/classy design and it won't look small like a lipped 22".

I like the first choice, but it looks like you may need a drop. Are those 22"s ? Its crazy how much of a difference it makes just putting wheels on.

If I get a lipped wheel it will be 22", but the problem is that it looks smaller because of the lip. A drop would make it look better, but the lip just makes the wheel appear smaller. It's part of the reason why I like the 2nd wheel.

Thanks, but I've got a long way to go... There's a lot of good choppers in here.

That's the only real issue that's holding me back. I believe the offset is decent and design is spot on, but the lack of 114.3. is a bit of a problem. I would prefer not to re-drill; I worry about the structural integrity of it..

Manufacturers of wheels redrill all the time. Even high end wheels are sometimes redrilled if the owner chooses not to opt for new centers. If they are done properly and have steel inserts installed then they are fine.

5x112 to 5x114.3 is not a big deal once the shop is competent.

given the color of your vehicle, i must say that none of the wheels blend in very well. you might want to try to venture into a different color category.

Well, from your PS skills the EXE's look really good. As for re-drilling, if done right they will be fine. I have put a little over 80,000 miles on my wheels and no issues. Many 1,000+ mile road trips and they are still good. Too bad you are not in Cali, I would have let you try them on your FX so you can get the feel.
