Great!! We looked into getting this part done before by a local shop.. There is a thread about it. I'm glad GTSPEC is looking out for the FX comunity again. Thanks..

Just a few concideration when making this part guys!
1. Make sure to make this part aerodinamic not like the OEM one.
2. Also by making it aerodinamic it won't be sticking out so much, I think one of the most popular mod here is lowering the FX.. And if the under cover is sticking out it'll scratch or get damage like the OEM one..
3. Could you guys make a door for easy access to the oil pan/filter. A Sliding door would be awesome and more convinient to change the oil if you don't have a car lift system.
4. Last but not least Ventilation.. Please make sure to add some sot of ventilation to your design..

Thank you GTSPEC!!!

#1 and #2, to be advice. #3 and #4, I think we cover it pretty well !

Looks great , will that be the color ?
I am also wondering if it will look funny if its too tight to the under body the fender skirts will still be hanging down...like some dracula teeth :ninja:

it's actually aluminum , but we put a layer of powder coat on the panel to prevent oxidation. So it's not full polish look.

That is a very nice piece. I'm in....

I thought this was going to be powdercoated "GTSPEC Blue" like all the other parts for our cars.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but from the photos, it's still one metal piece, which will require the removal of the entire cover for maintenance. As mentioned by others and myself, I thought there would be an access door to open in order to reach the oil filter and drain plug without removing the cover. Referring to the photos, it appears that we will still be required to remove and replace the same amount of screws in order to remove the cover.

Those were just suggestions from us for GTSPEC to consider. He never said there would be one incorporated into the design. While I think the access door is a great idea too, the current panel looks great, I would still consider the panel without it! :balanced:
