My GTSPEC Brace arrived a few minutes ago. It looks great, was packaged very well.

Thanks to Charles at B2 Auto Designs for the good service. GTSPEC did a great job packaging it. It came quite fast to Canada once it was shipped.

Looks great guys! So I know this is a dumb question, but other than looks, does it add anything else? firm up the body and if so, is it noticeably different ride?

un oh....gtspec for 2nd gens?

let me get out my wallet....
And the GTSPEC bar is a real quality part Jordan. They have all the other bars available also for the 2nd gen.

Jonas the strut tower brace fastens to the top of the front strut towers on each of the FX. A car's strut towers normally flex during hard cornering or when hitting a bump so
theoretically the strut tower brace distributes the pressure applied to one strut tower to both towers keeping the suspension settings the way they were designed. This should improve handling, tire wear and stress is minimized in the strut tower portion of the fenderwell. It also helps when going to larger wheel and tire combos.
As to how well this particular one works, I'm not sure yet (don't have mine on) it really depends how rigid the bar is.

Works well, but a front brace really needs an accompanying rear for you to fully appreciate the effect. Stiffening the front is great and all, but without the back it'll just transfer the torque/torsion/etc to the rear. I say at this point it's 60/40 imo; 60% looks and 40% performance.

It's a worthwhile pickup if that's what you're asking JD.

its worthwhile for performance, but at the same times makes the car ride worse....especially if you are on springs too...... (experience from my 1st gen)

^^ Technically, if you're looking for performance, any "luxury" car will feel worse after you modify it to handle better/more aggressively. You can't have your car be able to take a corner at higher speeds and stay planted and still have it eat up potholes without feeling the bumps.
