TSW Zandhoort & Yokohama Parada Tires for 600

Found a guy on craigslist selling the the TSW Zandhoort & Yokohama Parada Tires for 600. They are about a year old. I am going to meet him today to look at the tires and the rims.

I saw a picture and they look good.


I looked him up on the internet and he seems like a rich guy trying to get rid of some rims because he replaced them. I saw a picture but was unable to post it. But the rims still look pretty new.


They don't look like they've been repaired or anything. Anything I should be on the look out for?

Look for the tire date code http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=11
Look for cracks in the tires, specifically sidewall cracks. Look at the wear, any bubbles, etc on the tires.

Look for evidence of welding/repair to the wheels. That's pretty much it, you can't see if a wheel is slightly out of true, so just throughly go over them.

Make sure that the wheels have the correct offset, bolt pattern, and assess the hub diameter (hubcentric rings will probably be required).

I met the guy today. My father in law went with me, he knows alot about Rims and Tires. He said they're in great condition and a steal at the price. I only paid 500 and he threw in the tires. The Paradas X 275/45/20.

So I got the full set of tires and RIMS for 500.

The tires are worn but could be useful in case of emergency. All I wanted were the rims and they were a great price. So I got very lucky. Can't wait to put them on when I get the Nitto NT420s. Just love the tread on those tires. I might go with my other choice Hankook RH06. Not sure what I will do yet with Tires.

I will. I was leaning more toward hankook but love that thread on the nitto. Not much info on nitto as compared to hankook. Rh06 vs NT420s.

I would go with the RH06s then...

Cool looking tires doesn't really mean much if there aren't reviews on it, for all you know they can suck as badly as the Falken STZ04s or BFG KDWs:cool:
