buying wheels soon anyone good with tire sizes?

I am buying 22x10.5 status knight wheels with +38 offset. and they said I should run 265/40/22 but I asked them if i could get a 265/35/22 and they said yes. Now im wondering how well that would work because it will be dropped on bc coilovers soon and dont want to big or wide of a tire that would rub. if your on coilovers or lowered alot, can you please chime in and tell me what your running so I can point myself in the right direction. thanks guys
 
Go with the 265/40s. When you go down on the coilovers you will get more negative camber and it "should" clear no problem. I am pretty much 100% that it'll be fine as the whole setup isn't agressive at all. Aggressive would be running +25 offset and stretched tires. Your tires will be slightly stretched anyway.

Not many people on the coilovers lowered down a lot. Logan is one, and the other is the one with the Megan whose FX belongs to his wife and he has a business (can't remember his SN or name).

Fxlr8 is slammed
 
I have a 20x10.5 with a 295 in the rear on coilovers. Had to trim/roll the rear fenders, but it only rubs on hard bumps, which has only been once or twice in about 5k miles.

If you had stretched 265s on their it probably wouldn't rub, although the 295s give better rim protection and buldge a little (plus it is recommended for this wheel width).
I asked jbaker and he test fitted the 10.5s up front on his and everything was golden on his, although he didn't drive on it.

okay 265/40/22 it is. wheelfire is the where im getting them they shot me a price 1995 includes set of 22x10.5 wheel package and free shipping badass wheels for under 2k to your door cant go wrong. Now after that will be time to find the best price on bc coilovers. heard someone got them for 999 shipped! would love to find some for that price but that wont be till december prob. thanks guys alot wish I knew as much as you do but hey ill learn from ya :tup:

CRAP i think i have a problem! i read the bc coilovers dont fit the fx 45 is this true. if it is im gonna cry how will i lower this bad boy!!

That's a heck of a deal for the wheel/tire combo.

BC Coilovers will fit your 45. Where did you hear differently?

lol i actuall just got off the phone with our sponsor, made my day so much better,lol 999 shipped is what he said and told him it will be about a month or so before i get the money. I think he said he was an fx45 owner himself? can't wait ill be sure to post pictures of everything coming together. guess ill have to set up a photo bucket. thanks again SC
