OK, so I'll bite on this one :tongue (2): ... nothing but love for the Z, for sure, though I'd go old school with a Datsun Z before I considered a new one. That said, I'll let this picture do my talking :rofl:

That is pretty. So why a Datsun Z. You must like to wrench. Personally, on a sports car I need a rag top. Period. Once you've had one, there's no going back.

I have to share my philosophical vehicle math:

Germany = Engineering
Italy = Style
UK = Luxury
Japan = Value
US = Marketing

Ya, I'm just messing with you, I do like the 370's a ton, in fact I remember someone here recently bought the 40th ann. edition, which was absolutely gorgeous. My dad drove an old Datsun 280Z, just a fun underrated car is all.

And wow, those are some amazing pics!!

My brother in law goes through BMWs like crazy and he has owned a fully built and modified e39 540, sold that, then he bought a 2003 estoril blue e46 m3 and modded that, sold that, Then he bought a 2003 e39 m5 and modified that, sold that. After that he bought a e93 335i with the DINAN tune, sold it. Then he bought an e63 m6 with RPI stage 2, almost 620 hp! and bought an e53 4.8is x5 with full DINAN package as his DD. and now he also has the f10 550i as his DD too, and that's hopefully goin in for DINAN software testing for the manual transmission. Almost 500 hp and 600 pound feet of torque! All of his bmws are 6 speeds (manual ftw in my family) lol

who knowes cts v m5 or e63 im keeping the fx hopefully so the next car would just add to the stable making the fx a daily driver.... tooo many cars out there to choose from at ths moment

Its going to be a few years, but if I'd have to choose now, probably an MDX. Not as exciting but it fits what I need.

Now if the wife decides to trade in the CooperS, then I might be adventurous and look into one of the new 5-Series. Ooooh.. maybe even the Touring model :biggrin:

Or I might just throw in the towel and get a Sienna :wink: hahaha

An fx 45 will be my next vehicle, its going to be my christmas present to myself lol. Then i will be an official IS member because right now I'm more of a lurker or window shopper but NOT MUCH LONGER!please wait 2 seconds for an uncompressed image, or press Ctrl+F5 for original quality page

Such a tough question! The reality is different than the wishing, of course.

Actual goals I can reach inside the next ten years:

x6
Cayenne
370Z

I'm not sure I can ever go back to a car, but I love that 370 so much it had to make the list. Just like the FX stands out - nothing like it in the market - so does that X6. I would love to have that in my garage.

Yes I guess I should have stated that at the begining of this thread. What I posted were my actual goals but like I said they are subject to change based on life.

All of those you listed do stand out. I chose the FX because for that very reason, combined with the fact that it reminds me of my Z3 M coupe that hurricane Ike swallowed.
