Wow, nice deal. Made me spent some money there. Utilized the 25% coupon code for some TSX-R clean lens and Osram CBI 5000K bulbs.
 
I'm def going to be purchasing the fog light HID kit and try to match the other HID bulbs I purchased from them
 
I'm wanting to change out all my bulbs and get an HID kit for the fogs... wondering if I should do this now...

Just so you know, Marek used oem lenses and modified the heat shield to get the cutoff you see now.

Adding a tsx will probably make it even better.

5000k is the way to go, nice choice.

Just read through a billion threads about HID fog kits, and I'm not sure what is best to do, so I'll probably hold off.
 
Does anyone here did the HID projector on their fogs? Is it worth it? My fog OEM starts to clound with those tiny rock chips.

Tired, but the aftermarket direct fit angel eyes with projector fogs are horrible.

The projector lens is not good and made for a halogen bulb.

You're better off trying to retrofit a morimoto projector or other small projector in the oem fog housing or similar.

Let me rephrase, they look cool. But the light output even with a HID kit is worse than OEM fogs.

You also need to buy lamin-x for the glass as they crack easily.

For looks, they work.
 
I'm confused...Ed you are saying the HID morimoto kits are worse light output than the original fog lights on the FX? And they crack easier?

First time I'm hearing this....

I was about to buy the H8 Morimoto elite HID system.

I think hes talking about aftermarket projector housings for first gen fog lights are horrible. They a re made for halogen bulbs but when you retrofit with hid bulb, output horrible.
 
^ ok, so the H8 HID fog system should be brighter than the OEM just to be clear...I would hate to spend money and convert if it's not better all around.
