can anyone help me out

given the condition you can use them safely if they aren't cracked at all. I have done that in the past and have had no problems. you could buy them at autozone for cheap, or you can do what i did, i bought gasket sealant from autozone for about $4 to prevent leaks in that area from using old gaskets.

oooooh wait a minute, gaskets for the headers....partially ignore my comments, that's a danger zone you are talking about, screw gasket sealants, i can't confirm if it's gonna work there, run to nissan for oem gaskets, don't be surprised if they say $65.

so would the stock gasket be fine ? what u recommend ? and are installing headers a difficult installation ? they arent for me fx but im helping my friend with a g35 .

installing them headers on a G35 must be a PITA. It was a pita work with my 350Z and i am quite sure that G35 doesn't have good enough clearance for ease of access. my only point is you can safely do that, but they are used, you might develop a leak down the road and will have to open everything to replace it. before you put it back with new headers, i suggest you check it thoroughly and handle it carefully.

and would u trust a muffler shop to do it ? cuz if we cant get it done hes looking into getting it done at a muffler shop .

does he know the guys there at the muffler shop? better yet, how does the muffler shop fare in reputation? having the headers replaced will cost your friend an arm and a leg because of the level of difficulty. also, i discovered later on that oem headers were not as restrictive as they were thought to be, hence putting aftermarket headers wasn't considered a major improvement.
i had my friends do it for me, they had to raise the whole engine block, then in the due process messed up the angle on my steering wheel, causing the VDC light to stay on.
tell your friend to get it done at reputable place.
