Does anyone on here ever have the under body of their FX cleaned? If so is there special places to have that done? I know winter is still far away, but these are things I think about in advanced since my car hasn't see winter at all yet:tup:

The owners manual says your suppose to have it cleaned annually to remove road debris and salt and other corrosive materials that could speed up rust on the under body/chassis/floorpan.

waste of time.

Didn't one of the guys exhaust corrode off due to long-term exposure to salt? I don't live in a harsh weather, but after see that pix, I think it might be a good idea to put something on the underbody to prevent corrosion.

that totally depends on your location. In TX, there's no such thing as endless rain or 2 feet of ice or salt water or anything. 90 degrees right now...

so to you, undercoating is a waste of time? I wish I had undercoated my FX. My friends in PA mostly have undercoated vehicles (done annually) and it maes vehicle's parts last longer...

he said cleaned no undercoated. it helps to read the post before you reply.
of course under coating is great but you need to remove & cover things to spray the undercoating material.
an undercoated underbody of the FX will help alot but the OP was talking about cleaning, like washing.

:alien:

Not to sound like a dummy but how exactly do you do the undercoating for the FX in order to protect it?
