2006 FX35 AWD
Hi All,

I recently came upon this forum after being on infinitifx.org for a while. The one thing I've noticed right away is that this forum has more information on the mod factor for our cars. As a result, I haven't visited infinitifx.org in a while. :wink (2):

I have a 2006 35, awd, sport, touring. It replaced a '03 Nissan Frontier pickup. I also have a weekender - a '03 Nissan Z with greddy twin turbo, and all the other mods. Needless to say, I'm a Nissan guy.

The only "mods" on my fx is window tint and homemade oil catch can. However, in the near future I'd like to add H&R springs, 20mm spacers and at least a STB (been looking at GTspec) and maybe some of their other braces depending on my wallet.

Welcome to the Scene! Lots of good info here on the mods you are planning.

Welcome to iS! You should find this place more enjoyable than the ORG.

Thanks... And yes, I already have!

Lots of threads indeed. Speaking of which, maybe you guys have some direct input. In the spacer threads, I've read a lot about those wishing they went 25mm front and 20mm rear due to the front fender. Now, nobody has really mentioned anything about how the the tires being 5mm out more than the rears may (or may not) affect the handling dynamics of the car. Thoughts? I figure it's such an insignificant difference that there wouldn't be any negative consequences.

I have not tried it myself but I have read someone do this in the past but I cannot remember who that was. But since you have an AWD system I would stick with 20mm all around just to keep the AWD system in check.

Hello and Welcome. I live in Russia, Moscow, but my close relatives just in San Diego. My uncle just came from there yesterday. A few years ago in San Diego made my second Infniti FX35 in Stillen.

Welcome! I just did exactly what you are thinking of! I just received H&R's and GTSpec and waiting on the 20mm spacers to come. Before you know it, you'll be spending more money than you planned, but definitely worth it!

Did you buy them all from the same vendor? I've been shopping around for the best prices... Let me know if you have any recommendations!
