I prefer 6k as well. I just dont see that much of a difference between the oem 4300k and 5k :bulgy-eyes: ??

I too miss the 6000K color and switched back my DDM 6000K from the Osram CBI 5000K. I'm debating if there is a noticeable difference among different brand of 6000K. I'm happy with the DDM 6000K now, but I do notice the cut off line is not as sharp as the CBI now. I wanted to explore if there "better" 6000K. I know Rip is a big fan pointed out to me on the Garax 6000K. Debating if I should try out the Garax.

Elaine, even though is only 700K difference, but no doubt there is a very noticeable difference to me from 4300K to 5000K!

by the way, the osram box says "up to 5,500k". So you will get at least 5k out of it and up to 5,5k, but not as blue as 6k.

bought some $20 eBay specials in 5k and installed the other day... They seem more blue than expected but not quite like 6k. I expected the 5k to be more white... we are splitting hairs though because they would appear white to most people, but I can still see a hint of blue. Still don't match my CREE parking lights or my LED fogs just yet.

Perhaps I should try a better brand of 5k?
