Alrite fxlr8, here is my DIY for the 09+ FX35 tail lights. Surprisingly it is very similar to the 03-08 tail lights.
[Tools Needed]
10mm Socket
Pliers
[Time Required]
Less than 20 Minutes
[Safety]
Make sure your car is turned off in case of an electric shock.
1. Remove the vanity cover by pulling UP on it

2. Remove the two screws you see that attaches the tail light to the FX's body

3. Push the tail light outwards away from the car till you hear two fasteners pop out, afterwards push out towards the front of the car to remove the last fastener towards the front of the tail light.

INSTALL LED TURN SIGNALS
4. If you want to install LED turn signals, tap two wire tappers into the red and black wires coming from the tail turn signals. This is for the resistor to prevent the fast blinking.

5. Get a resistor from Fry's or RadioShack and attach them to two wires with the wire tapping ends plugged in. The wire tapping ends are used to plug into the wire tappers.

6. Plug in the resistor into the tapped wires and hide the resistor in the hole you see here, it is where the bumper is.

7. Reverse order of the tail light removal to put it back on. For the LEDs check to see that everything is working before putting the tail light back on.
