Hey guys,


Finally had a dent that was bothering the hell out of me fixed. Let me know what u guys think.

through photobucket, is there another way besides photobucket? Im using the insert an image button, should i just copy and paste the links directly to the post instead of using the image button?
 
Only use the insert image if you are just using the URL of the image. From PB, past the IMG code straight into the text box, not the insert image box.
 
Thanks, Im pretty happy with the work, wasnt cheap though but I would rather use PDR than have the whole door repainted. Preserves the original paint so if i decide to sell it ppl wont think its been in an accident.

The guy charged me $125, I tried calling a few PDR places and they all quoted me $125-$150 for 1 quarter size dent. I guess NYC prices are inflated compared to the rest of you guys. If anyone knows a place in nyc that is willing to do it for $100 per panel or less please let me know, I have a couple of dents in my other car i need to get out as well. Thanks
 
I got quote $130.00 per panel no matter how many dents it had.. Good deal cause I thought my door had 2 dents.. Once the expert looked it up he was like oh wow I see 4 dents.. I was like where? He pointed them out. Then I was the one saying oh wow... Now the door looks brand new again!!
 
Yea but this service isnt cheap, from what some of u guys said I think NYC prices are definately higher compared to other regions.

Fantastic

That's great! I'd gladly pay $125 to have a dent like that taken out of my car. I've heard of this process but have never seen before and after pics. I'll file this info away and hopefully never need it. Thanks for sharing.
 
I have some very small dings on my to do list. I'm thinking of trying the dry ice method myself for the first time.

It might just be easier to pay ~$100.
 
i had a very similar dent on my door and one on my hood...i just placed a piece of wax paper on the dent and rubbed dry ice on it...after like 5 min the dent just poped out
