We will supply spacers for those who needed extra clearance. There are plenty of ground clearance.

Mark.

Mark - there is plenty of ground clearance on a STOCK FX35. Those of us who have BC or Megan coil-overs are about three inches lower and then there are custom/aftermarket exhaust considerations as well. At some point spacing the brace isn't practical anymore, even if we can make it fit. The last place you want low ground clearance is mid-chassis, directly between the wheels.

Just ask my ladder brace.

^ Or my rear lower brace which will may be showing up in the classifieds soon......Nothing major with regards to damage yet BUT I just have this feeling eventually its going to going to take a hit and the camber connections are a bit too important to beat up.

Since my turbo build required removing some of the factory braces, I decided to go ahead and try this mid-chassis brace out. It's no longer possible for me to use the 4 point ladder brace due to the turbo exhaust routing. I've had the mid-chassis brace in my garage for a couple months but only got around to jacking up the car to see if it fits. I really wish I had a lift.

No go for me - so check the classifieds for a BNIB never opened GTSpec mid chassis! Or just PM me, lol.

Ed, you really want the MCB? Aren't you going to join Club BC in the near future?

=) but I would actually stay H&R height. I don't want added stress to my suspension joints and my alignment in the rear is just a hair out of spec -- anything lower is uneven tire wear for me. Plus I'll be copying Handy_Andy with 285/40/22 tires, so slightly taller.

 Handy_Andy? 285/40/22 yield quality ride and minimal wheel gap. I really dig the look of 285/35/22 though. I will go 35 series if I have coilover to cut down on the wheel gap.

I will buy your tires when you do Handy_Andy. Unless you want my 265/40/22's.

ha your discount tires is going to this we're all crazy when we're swapping tires on 3 different cars, just so we can have a .25-.5" difference in diameter!

It's those little details and numbers that count. :nerd (2):

I would really love to have this piece but it's just not feasible for me. This morning on the way to work, I drove over a running shoe on the road and the shoe was all over the undercarriage.

I'll take a PM for my mid chassis brace as well :wink (2):
