AFE Cold Air Intake

I was looking to get a cold air intake for my 06' fx35. is AFE a good manufacturer and is it worth getting a new intake? Id probably get the stage 2 which replaces the factory air box, air filter, and intake tube with the oil free filter. Any suggestions?
 
I don't know the quality, but I can say the price is pretty expensive. Also and outrageous claim of up to +40hp. I don't think anyone here has it either. Check out Stillen's CAI, its really nice.

Yes Carlos had it and returned it. The problem is that they say it fits both the g35 and fx35, as we know the fx has a slightly bigger engine bay. I tried emailing afe a few times in regards to the difference but they don't seem to care.

OK, so I checked out the link here and ordered the Stillen and the Z tube. I'll let you guys know how it works out. What type of power increase have you guys seen? From the site it looks like I can see a 6 to 11 hp increase.
 
That's the setup most guys in here have, great choice! AFE is not very popular with the 5 series guys because of the heat soak and it's been dyno'd and they lost power.
 
Has anybody tried the Stillen CAI on a FX-45? It is not listed to fit on their site, and for that kind of money, I don't wanna be the lab rat! I had a Volant on my Xterra and it sounded awesome, until it sunk into a mud hole that was deeper than I estimated! At least Geico gave me $10k towards my FX! Great upgrade!
So anybody have an idea for 2003 FX-45 CAI kit?

Thanks! I looked it up.
Do you completely remove the OEM air box and ductwork, modify it, or does it fit inside?
I am concerned about sucking in hot engine compartment air, and having less performance than I do with the stock setup.
Anybody have a pic of an install on a FX-45?
