KIDO Racing Coilovers 03-08 FX

Wow, all of a sudden we have coilovers galore! Probably the same manufacturer as the others with just a different brand name. I love this color combo though!

I come from Taiwan.
And want to explain some things to you all.
KIDO was the popular brands in Taiwan and Asia.
Maybe some people think D2/Ksport/XYZ or BC..etc
All was from Taiwan and maybe from the same factory.
But in fact , in my information.
Only D2/Ksport/XYZ was from the same factory.
other brands was not.
Even so,the D2 and Ksport and XYZ have each suspension damper and spring rate setting.
And the damper oil or any parts they was not all the same.
If you want me to buy a kit.I still hope can get from Taiwan brands.
Becasue their price was nice and quality was also good.
Japan brands maybe nice quality ,but like you know the price was very very high.
So let every members to think about this problem.
I don't means anything for who's products was nice or bad...
just said what am I thinking.:smug:

I like Taiwanese brand. I am a Taiwanese as well. And I can tell you, BC is the good shit. KIDO is just over priced for this particular case due to the shipping. I think BC probably manufactures for KIDO as well.

I'm sure BC and KIDO was different factory.
BC was being 1999 and owns "BC" brand being 2004.
KIDO was being 1998 and the same time have their own brand.
And when KIDO products was popular in the market.
We still not to know who is "BC"
I also have a friend in australia. They called BC=Bad Control....

this is correct about the factories. bc does manufacture other brands, but not kido racing. there is no need to come on bashing another company to promote yours. simply state the facts if you think yours compete, these guys are all educated and will pick whats right for them.

I do have some questions for you. If your product fails (which costs a nice $225 extra by the way) since your in taiwan and the customers are here in the USA, how are they going to get a product warrantied? just a question i was thinking as i didnt see any US dealers.

I can tell by the label on the coilover its not made in the bc factory...it looks a bit more like the alibaba, d2,fortune auto type coilover to me.

I've seen BC Coilovers advertised in a lot of US car magazines too. That ups the brand image and brand value (at least to me), as they are showing a presence in the US marketplace.

I did my research when I bought my big brake kit -- in summary most of the calipers are made from the same company or similar. My end choice was having a US distributor and US customer service. Don't get me wrong, all the parts were quality. I raise this because many of the coil over companies also make calipers too.
