Looking at a set of 24" rims . tires would be 275/30-24 but the offset on the wheels are +15 and I heard I can do anywhere from 30-40 to be safe. What can I do to make the +15's work or will they not work? Not too familiar with the offset at all.
 
The width of the new wheels are 10".. (24x10) and I have the stock 18's on the FX. So I don't think its going to work. Only reason is because I came across a deal on discountedwheelwarehouse.com. The wheels aren't drilled yet so they can drill them to specs but the offset is +15 which sucks. I'm sick of looking at the stock 18's.

No one has pushed the envelope with that low of an offset on the 2nd gen to my knowledge (I think the lowest I've seen is +27, maybe).

Maybe I can help you out. The lower the positive ET number is, the more it pushed out from the hub. Therefore on a 8" wheel, a +50 offset will be closer to the vehicle whereas a +25 will be further out. How much further out you might ask well if the original wheel is +50 and the new wheel is +25 then 50-25=25mm further out (of course this is fr the same 8" wide wheel, changing widths also changes clearances). Best thing to do is to play around with this offset calculator, which may be helpful...
