Post your ride next to a supercar

Cop is wrong. Well maybe he just put it in a wrong way the fault is on youte driver not the dealership. The dealership doesn't have that responsiblity. Legality of not having front plates varies from state to state or province to province for us canadians. You could be using the car in another state where it is legal. The dealership is not oblige to ask and make sure. On the other hand, you not knowing the law is not a valid legal defence. The law is written in some form and it is imply that you should look up the law if you are in doubt. The police gave you a break. He could be an asshole and just write you up a ticket or worst make you get your car VI. Most exotic ran without front plate not because they don't know the law. It's because they can afford the tickets.

Anyways I hate having front plates. If I'm rich I would do without it. I also hate not being able to tint my front windows. I don't want to get skin cancer!!!!!
 
my last two cars didn't have front plates, the dealership sold me the SI without front plates and cops would only tell me to go get the front plates. On the 350Z, i always kept the plate underneath the floor mat, I would take it out and show it to the cop and tell me i was going to get it put on. that always worked for me. drove the FX for 4 months without plates, nothing happened.
 
Forgot to post this. Passed this guy going the opposite way, and my friends were like omg follow him. Did a quick u-turn and caught up to him eventually getting on the highway where picture was taken. He rolled down his window and gave us a thumbs up. I think it's an LP 640. Looked different from the usual Murcielago. Sorry pic is bad, they used camera phones.

Again if the law of your state say you need a front plate that means you have to display one. Just because you didn't get nail doesn't mean you didn't break the law, officer have the right to execise discretion. Either means you are a hot girl or the police where you live has ample budget and thus is not force by their superior to give out ticket aggresively to bring in money.

I like to think that the police where you live realize how insignificant it is to not have a front plate and are actually out catching REAL criminals :) now only if our police would do that instead of setting up stake out to give ticket to lowered cars, tinted windows and loud exhaus, because modify cars are a menace to society right :wub:

That most definitely looks like an LP , incredible car, and awesome pic even though the quality isn't great, i see them from time to time in my town and am in awe every time

I actually have pic of my old jeep parked next to it, hopefully I can find it and post it in this thread, it was bright green with black rims

I think that's an lp670, or it could be just an lp640 but with a wing added... think only the lp670 came with a wing like that from Lamborghini... only reason I know this is I almost bought one last week........ :laugh::tonguey: :cool:

You're probably right. I had never heard of the 670 I don't think. There's a 640 poster right behind me now I got in Sant'Agata, and it doesn't have a wing.
 
The 670 is the new SV. I don't think that is an SV. It looks like a 640 with a wing added.
