Rear bumper remove -need advice

Thanks for info. My retainers was good but Ive broken a lot of clips :)

Front bumper removal soon. Wanna instal light washers. Any tips except those retainers?

The best advice for front bumper removal would be not to waste time undoing the bolts at the bottom of the bumper to the splash pan, they do not need to be taken out to access the lights. also the grille can stay attached to the bumper.

Hey Trojan, would you tell me how you take the reflector apart from it backing? I was thinking of using a dremel tool to cut the glue to separate the len and backing.

I've used a dremel. After putting LEDs, glued both parts together and seal with a transparent silicone.

I will remove whole front bumper. At first im gonna drill wholes for headlight washers and fit its pumps to the bummper and later paint the bumper ( It has two nasty scratches). When bumper will be in body-shop I will work over headlights - AE :)

Will post step-by-step pics  and the final result.

Cool, like minds think the same. Thanks. I'm shopping for led strips. I'm leaning toward these http://www.oznium.com/side-emitting-led-strip. Thinking of one 1-foot strip cool white in each reflector.

Hum I wonder is red would be any better.

Updates? I've being fallowing this thread closely.. I'm thinking about doing this along with blacking out the markers. Also where did you get the LEDs from.. Thanks!

try to find them in the nearest electronic shop. They should be covered with silicon coat - to prevent water damage. Get them with and as strong as possible.

Putting turn signal would be nice option ;)

Great thread, really sux you have to remove the rear bumper to get at the rear lower reflectors. Bought some EL strips and plan on doing some surgery before the weather gets too cold.

Hey just in time when I need to take off my rear bumper for repaint and smoke out the reflectors ( tint film is staring to bubble, gotta love Seattle rain)
