FX45 Gets new Lungs and tail lights

Spoke to Gordon last Thursday and he made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Blew off my meetings on Friday and instead went to his shop in El Monte. In about an hour the new Invidia Gemini was bolted beneath my ride. Gordon hooked me up and even installed the system! The sound is ideal, nice throaty idle, and an authoritative rumble at WOT. No droan on the freeway either. I haven't recorded the sound yet, but came across a clip of the Larini system I did on my maserati. She sounded nice but way to loud after a while.

The next day I took her to Car Zone in Van Nuys for a 30k service and he had a pair of Sport tail lights that looked new. He sold them to me for only $100 so I left with those as well as all new fluids. I need to order the inners, but I don't think the red ones look all that bad. What do you guys think--get the clear inners or leave it as is?

you could tint the red to look black, that should be ok with the clear outers. good choice on the invidia. must sound nice with a 45.

Definitely put up a sound clip of the I.G. exhaust. More importantly, how did it perform??? Butt dyno give you good feedback?
Since you've got a di-graphite FX, order the inners, the look will make your rear end look complete.

yes! Invidia ftw, now get a JWT pop charger to finish off the sound and get clears

Every decent car I've owned, I've installed a custom exhaust. But usually they were a tad too loud and obnoxious. The Invidia is pretty much perfect Below are the pics of the exhaust and new outer tail lights. I don't think the red inner lights look all that bad, or am just being a tightwad?

BTW, do the JWT Pop Chargers make much of a difference?

Can't really tell from the butt dyno. The FX is pretty heavy, unless you get a gain of 15hp or more I doubt you'll feel much of a difference. However, I stand on it a lot more just so I can hear it. I'm sure my mileage will do down because of it

nice!! THe best system out there IMO. looks great man, not really feeling the red reverse light but i like the clears!
