Looks really good Aaron. Glad you finally installed it. Now your probably kicking yourself in the ass because you realized you should have done it a while ago haha. In my opinion its one of the best upgrades your can do on the 2nd Gen for the $. Before you do your bbk and strut brace you should look into getting your headlight housing painted professionally.. or buy the euro ones like mLerry has.

Speaking of March and April. These dates are 100% set:
I'm coming into Chicago: March 9/10/11 weekend and could meet up.
Also April 8 weekend - but I will be busy all weekend for Easter stuff, so next possibility is probably May.

Looks great, the black color really helps blend it in... I wonder how it would look on a white Fx with the 21" wheels...

After looking at some other photos I don't think I'm going with the rest of the kit. Besides I don't want to lose my mudflaps. I've seen suv's without mudflaps and the rear gets rock chips from shit being kicked up from the tires. Doesn't look good IMO. Another thing I love about the front lip is that when standing directly in front of it, the lip makes the front appear lower to the ground.

By the way test drove it with the distance control assist and forward collision warning on and everything works well! No problems like what the instructions say. Wayne's DIY guide helped alot. Only thing he forgot to mention was the use of a center punch and you have to drill a 1/8" pilot hole first for the 1/4" hole afterwards.

I think it would look great Ian, I know I have been pestering one guy with a nice white FX but he keeps making excuses :wink (2):. It would be killer on a white one with the 21s on it.

SO PISSED OFF!!

I happened to be looking over the FX and the new front lip has a tiny rock chip on it already! Wtf I only put 300 miles on it already:mad.:
