you wrap the wavy part of the grill in vinyl too? i ask at my shop and the guys told me its impossible to vinyl with curvature like the one on the grill

How many miles does your FX50 have? Mine has 29K, and the new car smell is pretty strong still. Sometimes I roll the windows down cause it's too strong lol:confused.:
I got the car like a month ago at about 26,300 miles or something. I just passed 29k a few days ago. I think I'm like 29,200 now. Crazy!
I like the smell. Still good. I was hoping the Leaterique would make it stronger, but I didn't really notice that. It covered it up seems like it then after cleaning off the dirt brought it back, but it wasn't overpowering or not stronger I think. I'm hoping next year when it gets hot and then do it then I can get the new smell back really strong based on how you described it.
It's weird though because I thought the new smell is from all the plastic, not the leather? Why then would some cars with cloth seats smell so new too? maybe you happened to use some product on your dash/plastic that brought it out or something. I use Meguiars interior cleaner.

I forgot to add that some of you may want to try this stuff out. It's called Glass Science Glass Scrub Cream Cleanser. Let me tell you this stuff is awesome!! I was kind of skeptical of buying it, but hear good reviews so I decided to try it. I noticed my glass was starting to looks filthy in the sunlight. No matter how many times I cleaned it, the glass still was micro spotted and dirty. Basically this stuff goes into the micro pores of the glass and pulls the dirt out that regular washing or glass cleaner doesn't.
I advise anyone going to use this stuff to soak the glass with some water as a lube. It says it in the directions on the back. My friend FAILED TO LISTEN TO DIRECTIONS lol and didn't wet the glass first and ended up scratching the glass lightly. And don't use hard pressure either, just lightly rub it on the glass.

Well parts of the doors, armrests, and dash have leather on them.

Decided to take some pictures since this is the dirtiest my car has ever been since I bought it lol. I haven't washed it in a few weeks because we had that big blizzard up here. I'm going to hand wash it today though:

Haha I've done that soo many times. I think sometimes people actually let their rims get dirty on purpose to make them look like their painted. I see cars that are spotless, but the rims are left dirty and black.

the best sh*t ever for black cars and i love it, i have not washed my car in a month this rain wont go away. Hopefully this weekend i can do it.
