No Aux power in cigarette lighter and trunk

I recently noticed that I had no power in the cigarette lighter and in the aux connection in the trunk. This first seemed like a no brainer... check the fuses. I have checked all of the fuses that I am aware of and have not located a single blown one. Does anybody know EXACTLY what fuse this is? The catch to all of this is that the aux power in the center console does work.

Any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem with mine. The 2 in the front (center console) are not functioning, the one in rear passenger and trunk work. I just picked up my 06 fx35 approx 3 weeks ago, and the first time i plug something in it was 3 days ago. I thought it was my charger, but it worked in the 2 in the back. Please let me know if you guys find anything? thanks

I'm going to bump this thread because I am STILL having this issue. Cigarette lighter in the front & aux connection in the trunk are not working but the outlet in the center console is. Any ideas???

Can a moderator try moving this to electronics?

Have you done the DRL mod? or is that done on the car? When I did mine I blew all sorts of fuses.(also installing led halo rings) There is a set of normal fuses that you can only get to by removing the battery. I will try to find the other thread that talks about them.

Could also be an issue with the relay in the front.

The trunk and rear of console dc power sockets are both on the same fuse. (if you do the DRL mod successfully they are always on. If you do it unsuccessfully you blow their fuse.

Anyway, I will see if I can find better info and update this.

You have to remove the plastic cover around the top of the battery.

I think if the relay is dead or missing you will also lose those dc sockets

I hope these diagrams will help in trouble shooting!

So, is this saying to look at slot 7 for the cigarette lighter and slots 2, 3, & 4 for the power sockets all in Fuse Block M1 and/or E204? Sorry, I'm new to reading these schematics.

If, so then is that the fuses behind the battery?

No, the DRL mod is not done on my car but it's possible that the previous owner tried. Thanks for those links btw. I hopeful the culprit is in there.

Did you check the fuse box under the hood behind the battery?
yup. Those are the larger fuses right?

If it's okay to quote myself for error corrections, if what Dr.2K was referring to is the following then no, I did not check those fuses.
